Our Story
Top Line Remodel LLC is a registered North Carolina company run by Jose Lopez, built around a simple position: the part of a job you cannot see is the part that decides how long it lasts. A bathroom is its waterproofing. A floor is its subfloor. A wall you take out is the beam that replaces it. Those are exactly the things a cheap quote leaves out, and exactly the things that cannot be put right later without taking the whole thing apart again.
From our base on Gray Ghost Street in Benson we cover the Raleigh–Durham Triangle — Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, Garner, Clayton, Knightdale, Wake Forest, Fuquay-Varina and Chapel Hill, across Wake, Johnston, Orange, Franklin, Chatham, Harnett and Durham counties. Kitchens, bathrooms, tile and wall cladding, flooring, cabinets and granite countertops, drywall and painting, additions, decks, carpentry, repairs, and full residential remodeling.
The other half of it is doing the whole job with one crew, in the right order. Demolition, structure, rough-ins, drywall, tile and finish work are not separate jobs that happen to share an address — each one constrains the next, and building them out of sequence means building some of them twice. Handling all of it ourselves also means there is nobody to pass the blame to when something does not line up.

Waterproofing, level substrates, properly sized beams, fasteners in studs. Nobody ever sees any of it, and it is the only reason a remodel still looks right in ten years.

Remodel homes across the Triangle that are still right in ten years — properly waterproofed, properly supported, properly finished — rather than work that photographs well on handover day and starts failing in the second year.

The estimate is free and it happens on site. You approve the scope and the price before anything is opened up — demolition and haul-away included — so the invoice matches what you agreed to.
