Remodeling in Knightdale, NC

Knightdale sits on the eastern side of Wake County, close enough to Raleigh to have taken a lot of its growth and close enough to us to be an easy run. The result is a town with two distinct kinds of house and two distinct kinds of job.

The newer subdivisions off Widewaters and Princeton Manor are barely a decade or two old, and the work there is mostly about undoing builder-grade decisions: laminate countertops swapped for granite or quartz, carpet replaced with luxury vinyl plank, a bonus room finished properly, a deck or screened porch added out back. Straightforward work with a fast, visible payoff.

Older Knightdale, and the smaller towns out past it toward Wendell and Zebulon, is where the bigger projects are — bathrooms and kitchens that have never been touched, floors that need the subfloor addressed before anything can be laid over it, and additions to houses that were built small. We cover all of it out of Benson, and the drive is short enough that it does not change the price.
