Cabinet & Granite Countertop Installation
Level, plumb, and scribed to the wall you actually have
No wall in a house is flat and no floor is level, and cabinets are built assuming both. That gap is the entire craft of installing them. A run set to the floor instead of to a level line will have doors that do not align by the far end; a box screwed tight to a bowed wall will rack until the drawers bind. So the run gets a laid-out level line first, the high point of the floor found, boxes shimmed to that line rather than to the floor, screwed to studs through the back rail, and fillers and scribe scribed to the actual wall. Countertops follow the same logic: they get templated off the installed cabinets, not off the plan, because the plan is not what got built. Granite, quartz, solid surface and laminate, with sinks and cooktops cut and fitted.
Our Process
Free Estimate
We measure the room as built — walls, floor, and where the services actually come out — and quote from that rather than from a catalogue plan.
Set the Level Line
High point of the floor found and a level line struck around the room. Every box hangs off that line, which is why the doors line up at the end.
Hang & Scribe
Uppers first, then bases, shimmed and screwed to studs, with fillers and end panels scribed to the wall so there is no gap to caulk.
Template & Fit Tops
Countertops templated off the installed cabinets, then fitted, seamed and sealed, with sink and cooktop cutouts made to the fixture in hand.
