Flooring Installation & Repair
Flat first. Everything else follows from that
Nearly every flooring complaint traces back to the subfloor rather than the floor. Vinyl plank telegraphs every hump underneath it. Large-format tile lippage happens because the slab was out and nobody checked. Hardwood squeaks because the subfloor was not fastened down before it went over. Laminate opens at the seams because it was not left to acclimate. So the first thing we do on a floor is put a straightedge on it, and the second is fix whatever that finds — self-levelling compound over a dished slab, screws into loose sheathing, or new underlayment where the old one has gone soft. Then the floor goes down: tile, luxury vinyl plank, hardwood, engineered, laminate or carpet, with proper transitions and expansion gaps at the perimeter.
Our Process
Free Estimate
We measure, check the subfloor for flatness and movement, and tell you what it needs before we quote the floor itself.
Strip & Prepare
Old flooring up, fasteners set, and the substrate levelled or replaced. Skipping this is why floors fail early.
Acclimate & Lay
Material left to acclimate where it applies, then laid to a set-out that keeps full boards or tiles in the sightlines.
Trim & Finish
Transitions, thresholds, base and shoe fitted, expansion gaps kept clear, and the whole floor cleaned before we leave.
